4 Angle Bracket
Angle brackets adapters and base plates are useful for bolting our products to another
products, stages, breadboards, samples or other objects. Right-angle brackets are useful
for bolting two stages together. Flexible Angle brackets Claw has a flexible arm and
holding clamp. It is used to hold and position dial gauge, test indicator or other tool.
Switchable magnetic bases allow flexibility in positioning of devices on magnetic boards
or devices. These magnets have a high holding force which may be used for permanent or
temporary mounting. Our stages, flexible claw and other devices can be mounted directly or
with top plate adapter. These brackets are manufactured from cast aluminum or brass and
precision machined to ensure the orthogonal alignment of stages or other items bolted to
their mounting faces. le Bracket Speed Nuts combine the conventional these with the Speed
Nut principle of spring tension fastening to reduce the number of parts, speed assembly
and provide structural strength. They are available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes
and are applied in all industry from rugged con-struction to delicate electronics. Made
from high quality heat-treated spring steel, they provide long life, they can be reused,
and resist vibration loosening, even under the serverest conditions such as aircraft
applications. The assembly of this Speed Nuts can be accomplished in several ways
depending upon the nature of the assembly or the manufacturing facilities. They can be
riveted, screwed, welded, latched, snapped or twist locked into blind locations. They
provide reliable fastening points at any desirable position on the panel, chassis, frame,
bulk-head, etc. |

4 Angle Bracket
The slots in the base allow longitudinal positioning on the table top. These brackets are
especially useful for translators mounting. mount has three high-precision adjusting
screws that allow 82 degrees of tilt when just one screw is turned and 1 mm of trans-
lation along the optical axis when all three screws are turned an equal amount. The mount
utilizes flexures to constrain unwanted motion and strong springs to achieve excellent
long-term stability. The 16-mm-diameter aperture through this mount makes it unique.
Mirrors, beamsplitters, microscope objectivelenses, and cell-mounted components can all be
positioned using the component holders described in this chapter. One M4-threaded hole and
two M2-threaded holes in the base are provided for post or riser block/base mounting. The
precision flexure mirror/optics mount is made of brass with a black chrome finish and
black anodized aluminiam. This new series of miniature post holders features an attached
swivel base, a spring loaded friction element that prevents the post from slipping down
into the holder prior to final tightening, plus a design that allows the post to pass
directly through the post holder. This last feature provides for a maximum range of beam
heights when assembling an optical system. Two rotation adaptors are available: a platform
adaptor and a cell adaptor. Both mount in the 16-mm-diameter aperture of the pre- cision
flexure mirror/optics mount shown on page 20.6. When the flexure mount is held
horizontally, the platform rotation adaptor provides a rotation table for prisms and cube
beamsplitters.Vertical height adjustment is obtained when all three adjustment screws are
turned an equal amount. The optical-cell rotation adaptor allows optics mounted in
16-mm-diameter optical component cells to be rotated in the flexure mount. Polarization
components can be rotated, adjusted for and translated. Both rotation adaptors are made of
black anodize
