4 Motorized Translation
StagesMotorized translation stages have two limit swithces.Motorized
Translation Stages are created on the base of translators.Mechanical parameters of this
stages are the same as for manual translators. They may be used to establish a reference
position, but only roughly (within several motor steps). Motor position could be visually
established to a step by readign a dial knob on its axle. Body and platform of the stages
are of black finished aluminium, functional parts are of steel.Custom brackets are
available. Automate applications quickly with our affordable line of computer controlled
actuators, mirror mounts, and other devices. Multiple devices can be daisy-chained to a
single serial or USB port on any computer without installing any additional hardware. Each
device has it's own built in controller. This setup facilitates a low entry-level cost
without sacrificing expandability. A lead screw of original Standa's design with
tetrahedron coupling allows compact, but reliable leading gear design. Resolution, speed
and load capacity all depend on parameters of motor, leading gear, as well as on the
controller and driving mode a user chooses to use. Electrical parameters and wiring scheme
of a motor accompany each unit. Paramters of the stepping motor are as follows: |

4 Miniature XYZ Extremely
Compact All-Stainless-Steel Construction X, XY and XYZ Versions Optional PiezoMike for
Nanometer Resolution 4 mm Clear Aperture Linear Ball Bearings The M-310 series of
translation stages are our smallest micro- meter-driven positioners. The carriage is
spring preloaded against the micrometer tip for elimination of backlash. M-310 series
stages are available in one-, two- or three-axis config- urations. The latter consists of
a two-axis stage, an angle bracket and a one-axis stage. Please note that an XY unit
cannot be separated into two one-axis stages. The vertical stage in the M-313 XYZ as-
sembly supports the load through the micrometer spin- dle (not the preload springs)
providing excellent stability. PiezoMike Option Versions with PiezoMike drive provide an
additional 25 µm fine range for remotely con- trolled ultra-high resolution (e.g.
scanning or tracking). See page 7-76 for further details. A special version with piezo
block NanoActuators is avail- able as product. |

4 X-Z-? Translation StagesXZ
Micro move Stage provides smooth, precise two axis movement. Ultra Compact configuration
Precise rectilineal movement 4mm X-Z or X-Y travel range Precision ball bearings XZ Micro
movement Stage 7T228T provides smooth, precise two axis movement. The driving screws are
positioned so that the unit is controlled only from one side. That's why 7T228T is very
handy in optical schemes with very dense placement of instruments. The travel of this
stage is 4mm with sensitivity of 1 µm. To mount components on it, M2 tapped holes are
provided. The unit has a clear aperture of 7mm in diameter. So it is ideally suited for
use as a holder of diaphragms. The stage can be directly mounted on breadboards and other
Standa equipment by use of mounting holes M3 and M2. Angle bracket 2AB128 may be used to
combine the stage with other units. The base and the platform are made of black anodized
aluminium. |
